I want to say we're about halfway, but I'm not 100% sure of that. I have up to Chapter 12 briefly outlined, but then plot points that go beyond that (they just haven't been assigned a chapter yet). However, I can honestly say I don't see this going beyond 20 chapters at the most. Unless I go crazy.

As for my "future Clark and Lois" piece, I'll be more specific as I don't want to mislead you. The piece I'm writing is fluff and set sometime in or post S9 when my Clark and Lois are dating. When finished, it can be read as a Smallville standalone. However, FF readers can read it as a companion piece and I'll be referencing it in a future FF chapter.
I'm thinking of writing Free Fall interludes where we get a peek into the universe from someone else's perspective (probably Lois). Good? Bad? Will probably break the monotony of a Clark POV story?
