Update on Whereabouts
Sep. 30th, 2004 09:09 pmHey guys. For those who're wondering about me... I just wanted to make a post so I can tell you what's up.
As you all have probably noticed, I've disappeared. Again. I don't like making excuses, since it seems that's all I ever do. But life gets in the way sometimes. I probably won't pop back up again until November. Yeah, I'm saying it now. I'll be gone for a month. I might pop in around the week of October 12 (My b-day! Yay! One thing to look forward to.) just for some catching up, but it's a little doubtful from my POV right now. October is one busy month for me. Here's a list of things I have to do:
Oct. 4 - Prepare resume and cover letter for teachers/counselors (Letters of Recommendations)
Oct. 4 - College Essay(s)
Oct. 9 - SAT II
Oct. 23 - ACT
October - Any other homework/tests teachers pile on.
- Yearbook photography deadlines.
- PSST (Pilipino Sharing Smiles Together) Club Modern Dance
- Anything else that I'm forgetting.
I love you guys. I really do. I'm sorry that I'm just not around to be here. -_-;; Just know that I haven't forgotten you.
Usa-oneechan - You rock. You started me on my SM crossover path, and after that, there was no going back. You inspire me, and I don't say it enough. I know inspiration hasn't come my way lately, but know that your stories have always amazed me. I'm not an avid reviewer (yes, curse me!), but your style draws people into the plot and characters. I love what you've done with Smcrossover.us too. If you ever need anything, you know where I'll be.
Michi-neechan - ^^ Heh. You could always make me laugh. I enjoy our AIM chats, even if they are few and far between. You've always had encouraging words and interesting ideas. Hope I can talk to ya soon. You're wonderful. Simple as that. Sorry that I'm a bit inconsistent in my online appearances. What can I say? I go where the wind takes me. *sweatdrops*
Lypiphera (Imouto) - Enthusiastic. Energetic. Your ideas blow me away, and I'm honored you come to me for advice. I've only known you for a short time, but I hope we get to know each other better. Keep up that unbelievable spirit!
siu (Bambi) - Amazing writer. I look back on your fics and I crave more. We started out on our own co-fic that just didn't reach fruition. It's one of my regrets, but I know that neither of us really had time for it. You don't know how much you've surprised me, too. You're one of the consistent commenters on my LJ, and I love you for it. Thanks for being there, even if we don't know each other as well as I'd like. *hugs*
Janken - We've just met, but still... you made a great impression. You're talented at making just about any graphics. They're always so awesome. Wish I had the same magic skill you seem to have at animated icons. It blows me away every time. Hope you keep it up!
Kantayra - Long time no see, eh? I don't even know if you'll read this, but it's been really great. We got to know each other over our Spike/Illyria love, but since Angel: Season 5 ended, I haven't been that inspired. That's always been one of my many faults. When I lose interest in something, I usually don't pick it up again until I get into it again. I'm sorry I haven't updated my S/I site, and I don't if this means anything to you... but your fanfics are still some of the best out there. Thanks for the pleasure of reading your indescrible writing.
D-chan - I haven't talked to you in, I think, years. I doubt you'll see this, but sorry we drifted apart. We used to talk a lot, but I guess you've always been more serious about writing than I have. I noticed you have some original works (which I will be checking out one of these days - they're bound to be great!). I hear from Usa-neechan that you're into Case Closed (Det. Conan). Just gotta say that series is the best! I love it! Shinichi is my hero. Well, hope everything's good for ya.
All my LJ commenters/friends that I forgot - Thanks for anything you've ever done for me. I just wanted to acknowledge how much it means to me. I hope I'll continue to see you around. ^_~ Drop me a line, and I'll try ASAP to get back to you.
