Krys Yuy ~ A Little Magic

So yeah, my guilty pleasure these past few weeks has been Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll.

I doubt anyone knows how uncharacteristic this is of me. I mean, nowadays, I rarely listen to the PCD's style of R&B, etc. I'm more an Anberlin and JMusic kind of girl. However, I do adore PCD's Stickwitu song. Really nice rhythm and sound. Plus Nicole S. (the lead singer) is quite beautiful.

But I digress. I got into this reality show about a couple weeks in. I just got hooked for no apparent reason. I suppose I really liked watching their performances onstage. Then my favorite became Melissa R. (I didn't even notice her at the beginning.) Part of the reason is, and I'm not going to lie, is that she's Filipino. But other than that, she's totally talented. She's pretty and she can sing and dance. I would have totally bought PCD's 2nd album if she had won.

Yeah, that's right. Asia won. *sigh* Now I've gone back to not caring about PCD anymore. Asia is talented too, don't get me wrong, but her attitude irks me to no end. I admire that she's going for her dream and doing it for her daughter (she's a single teen mom), but seriously, she needs an attitude adjustment. Plus the fact that I don't really like her singing voice. But she won and that's that. Nothing can change.

I also liked Chelsea, btw. Amazing singer. She needs a record deal, stat. I'd buy it. ^_~

However, Melissa R! I will totally support your future career! Please become a solo artist! XD;; You're only 18 - you have your whole life ahead of you and so much talent!

(Okay, got that spiel out. XD)

I can't wait until they post up the exit interviews for Chelsea and Melissa R. I want to know what their plans are for the future. 'Cause I'll totally be supporting them 100%.

But I guess the potential PCD fan in me has sorta lost interest. XD;; Oh well.

P.S. Anyone actually hang around at the CW Lounge? (I've been lurking...) 'Cause seriously? A lot of the posters there make no sense. O.o;; There are the few mature people, but other than that, watch out. ^^;;
