God, I love Ouran more and more. ♥

EDIT: Just noticed that in the back of LaLa, it says the next Ouran chapter will be a special about Tamaki and his pet Antoinette - the first time they meet! So, Chapter 62 will be in Issue #8 (August 2008).

Sorry, no summary spoilers just yet! I'll add my thoughts plus a few spoilers later when I calm down a bit. XD;; (I just read it.)

LaLa Issue #05 '08 - March 24, 2008 -> The giveaway next issue is a LaLa Premium Drama CD!! *o*! Yay! I love drama cds! (Speaking of, when is the Ouran one I ordered ever going to arrive in the mail?! T.T) Looks like it will have Ouran, Vampire Knight, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, and Faster Than a Kiss as the four tracks on the CD. AWESOME. ♥

Related sorta, but not really... for those of you who follow Vampire Knight - a Vampire Knight novel is also set to release on April 5, 2008 along with the Ouran release. And I've known this for awhile, and so have probably all of you, but starting in April, the Vampire Knight anime will begin. *o* Exciting deshou? The animation promo pic they had in the April Issue of LaLa makes it look great. I've always been in and out of this series, never following it as faithfully as I do Ouran. (I have been reading the latest chapters though, since I buy the LaLa issues and they're right there... XD;;) But I've been entertaining the idea of starting a sister site to FRoP... if I follow through with this, you guys can officially label me as INSANE. >>;; Thoughts?

Also, I've been delving into other manga recently that I've discovered while here in Japan. Here are the titles I've stumbled upon. Anyone recognize them?

♥ Hadashi de Bara wo Fumu ~ Ueda Rinko (mangaka of Tail of the Moon) - This is her latest series. The recent Margaret comic magazine had Chapter 6 of this series. And I'm really enjoying it. I missed Chapters 1-3 though, so I'm waiting for when Volume 1 is finally released. ^^;; Discovered it accidentally 'cause I bought the previous Margaret issues for the special Hana Yori Dango extra chapters.
♥ Yoroshiku Master ~ Tsukuba Sakura - I recognize her style, but I can't place the other series she's done. ToT Anyways, only two volumes of this has been released, but it's so cute. A christmas series, basically. A girl finds out she's a "Santa" when her reindeer finds her. Of course, her reindeer is a handsome, young man, who is so cute and cheerful. Whenever she says, "Come", he appears automatically in front of her. And when she says, "Turn into a reindeer", he does. Then when she says, "Return to a human", he does. I don't have a lot of the details behind everything, but something about a kiss cancels out the santa contract or something... ^^;; I think. Anyways, as one of the many santas around the world, the protagonist is in charge of a section of Japan, where she delivers presents on Christmas. Cute and it totally works.
♥ Kiss yori mo Hayaku ~ Tanaka Meka - Faster than a Kiss. So far, I'm loving it. Teacher is in love with the girl... I think they're engaged...? I have to re-read from the beginning. ^^;;

That's it for now - I'm gonna try to do homework, so after that, I can work on the newest layout for FRoP. And the one I'm thinking of is gonna be so hard to do. GAH. Wish me luck~! ♥

Ouran High School Host Club! My latest obsession (yes, there's a new one) that will definitely be here to stay. It's part of Viz's new line: Shoujo Beat Manga. You either love it or hate it. But I'm telling you, it's a nice break from dramatic manga along the lines of Red River, Peach Girl, etc. I mean, Ouran Host Club does have it's dramatic moments, but funny twists come right around the corner. This romantic comedy just makes you laugh, and you fall in love with the characters. Yes, sometimes you can't tell the difference between some of them visually, but it's not that bad. Bisco Hatori's drawing style is pleasant and her sense of humor is great. If you ever need a manga to leave you in giggles, this is the one for you.
